Arctic Science Summit Week
Taking place between 12 – 18 March 2016 in Fairbanks, Alaska
Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) is the annual gathering of international organizations involved in Arctic research. The Summit provides opportunities for coordination, collaboration and cooperation in all areas of Arctic science, and to combine science and management meetings to save on travel and time.
ASSW also provides a forum for government agencies and stakeholder groups to exchange information on needs and opportunities. The value of ASSW has been proven by the enhanced collaboration and improved communication that has emerged.
