2023 ECNU Chinese Government Scholarship
Independent Enrollment Program
Full-time postgraduates (Master, Ph.D.)
Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens.
Applicants who apply for master programs should be under 35 years old with a bachelor’s degree.
Applicants who apply for doctoral programs should be under 40 years old with a master’s degree.
a. Full scholarship
Exempt from tuition fee;
Provide accommodation on campus;
Provide living allowance in China;
Provide comprehensive medical care insurance for International Students.
b. Partial scholarship
Subject to the CSC admission decision.

Click “Online Application” on ECNU website:

Submit your application and documents that are required.
Application fee of 800 RMB (which won’t be refunded) should be paid online as well.

Step 3 Admission and University Enrollment
Admission Process
The CSC reviews eligibility and qualifications of nominated candidates and approves the List of Scholarship Recipients.
Admission result will be put on the Notice Board (lxs.ecnu.edu.cn).
