The Lagoons Forum
Established in MaREI centre, Ireland in 2017
The Lagoons Forum was established in September 2017 at a workshop that was hosted by Future Earth Coasts and the MaREI EO and GIS Applications group with funding received by the European Space Agency and Future Earth. Originally with 17 international members, the Lagoons Forum will aim to grow its membership and, through new interdisciplinary collaborations, seek to better understand the effect of environmental and climate change on coastal lagoon management.
