The Trevor Platt Science Foundation (TPSF) was launched in August 2021 to promote #capacitybuilding #research and #education in #oceansciences, with a strong emphasis on international networking, to nurture the next generation of young scientists and give them the tools they need to succeed in their chosen careers.
The first TPSF science symposium is entitled: Trends, Reflections, Evolution, and Visions in Ocean Research and will be hosted by Plymouth Marine Laboratory in August 2023. The symposium will include keynote and invited lectures, oral and poster presentations, and networking sessions. There is also an associated training course on satellite-based tools for investigating aquatic ecosystems for early career scientists, technicians, students (BSc, MSc and PhD) and post-doctoral scholars involved in aquatic ecosystems research.
Training Course: 7-8th August 2023 | Symposium: 9-11th August (till 12:00h) | TPSF Annual Meeting: 11th August (14:00h onwards)
