Dhritiraj Sengupta is a physical geographer and a geospatial analyst. His doctoral study focused on mapping spatial trends and patterns of coastal land reclamation in Asia, with an added focus on the SE Asia coast. His research focuses mainly on analyzing biodiversity loss and the environmental impact of reclaimed land on the global coast. Currently, Dhriti is a Research Fellow based at the School of Geography and Environmental Science, University of Southampton.
