Ma. Laurice Jamero leads the Resilience Collaboratory at the Manila Observatory, where she works closely with local governments across the Philippines to support their climate and disaster risk management efforts.

She is a contributing author of the recently released Working Group I contribution to the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and a working group member of the Southeast Asia Science Advisory Network.

Lau graduated with a doctoral degree in Sustainability Science from the University of Tokyo.
