Dr. Rónadh Cox

Rónadh Cox is a field geologist with primary research interests in the creation and transport of megagravel by waves, and the sedimentology and geomorphology of supratidal coastal boulder deposits.

The work that she does with her students and collaborators contributes to understanding the power of storm waves at coasts; it helps quantify the upper limits of storm-wave amplification, and relates sea states to coastal inundation and work done by waves, well above the high-tide level.
