Mr. Iddrisu Amadu

Iddrisu Amadu is a PhD Student at the Environmental Policy Group at Wageningen University & Research (WUR). Iddrisu is an interdisciplinary researcher focusing mainly on human-environment interactions. His specific areas of research interest include environmental and climate change, human im/mobilities, social-ecological systems and fisheries.

In his PhD, Iddrisu is examining the relations between environmental change and human mobility, focusing on how environmental and climate change and mobility regimes (fisheries regulations and border politics) are shaping the im/mobility strategies of the historically mobile Fante fisherfolk in the West African borderlands.
