The North America REP office is located near the banks of the Mississippi River and in the Mississippi Delta at a university focused on the natural and social science of the coast. This delta is experiencing the highest rates of relative sea level in the US; high rates of coastal land loss; has robust fisheries and other natural resources; is the site of the largest port by volume in the US; and is the site of a significant part of the US oil and gas industry.
