Fazeeha Azmi, M.I. is a professor attached to the Department of Geography, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She is a Human Geographer. She has a PhD from the Department of Geography, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway. Her research interests include Gender issues, post-war issues, poverty and livelihood changes, children and youth, small-scale fisheries, fisheries policies, governance and political ecology. She has a passion for qualitative research methodologies, through which she attempts to bring the voices of the marginalized.
